    It’s coming out that at least 20 Conservative MPs (including Harper) have strong ties to the American Christian Right. I’ll get more information as the Centre For Inquiry in Calgary pursues the issue further.

    Wow. That is… unsettling.

    But not surprising. I’d bet that all the major religions have cross-border connections, and there are many other interests that cross national lines. Jack Layton went down to the latest Democratic National Convention, for example.

    All of us at the show would be very interested in seeing what details could be found on this, but we should be careful not to draw too many conclusions from association.

    I agree, we can’t criticize 9-11 truthers and then turn around and promote our own wacky conspiracy ideas, but there’s definitely some info that needs to be done, especially with an election coming up.
